Czasopismo z zakresu nauk prawnych. Wydawane od 1974 roku. Autorami tekstów są nie tylko wybitni naukowcy, ale również praktycy polscy i zagraniczni. Opisują i wyjaśniają problemy pojawiające się w prawie polskim i innych krajów, a także w prawie międzynarodowym. W czasopiśmie publikowane są artykuły w językach polskim, angielskim, rosyjskim i niemieckim.

The efficiency of IT systems and the development of post-industrial economy bring significant changes to almost every dimension of management and organization of work. The use of modern information technologies, expert applications and automation in enterprises and institutions is becoming widespread. This requires application of new management principles and methods, as well as application of technical analysis, management through innovation, project management, co-creation of values with external organizations in the field of logistics, knowledge, and common services. Knowledge of these topics is contained in almost each of the presented articles, making up the fortieth issue of „The Małopolska School of Economics in Tarnów Research Papers Collection”. This time we are focused on the modern topic of IT technology application in the enterprise, as well as the analysis and reconstruction of organization systems in business entities and institutions. Papers that are the result of scientific work carried out as part of basic and implementation research, present a lot of cognitively and practically interesting information. To a large extent, they are devoted to the issue of using e-learning and other IT tools in the process of employee training and organizational improvement, financial management of the company, organization, provision of public services in offices and local government units, estimating energy expenditure of employees in improving work organization, and also automation and digitization of production in the aspect of the Industry 4.0 concept. The second thematic group is the research on the organization and humanization of work, i.e. evaluation of the programme to support students with disabilities in entering labour market, shaping working conditions in the enterprise, as well as evaluating historical hotel management.(...)

The papers, being the effect of scientific work conducted within basic and implementation research, provide a lot of interesting information in terms of cognition and application. The problems of the articles making up this Journal concentrate mainly around the issues of human capital management, ergonomics, as well as entrepreneurship and innovativeness of organizations. In the collected articles, the Reader will find a lot of theoretical approaches concerning: innovation process and the method of studying the innovative ability of an enterprise, intellectual capital management, the methods of studying and improving the quality assurance system in an organization, the application of ergonomics principles in office work and teaching students, or tourism entrepreneurship. The collection of the articles constituting the fourth issue of the quarterly includes some information interesting from the cognitive and application point of view. It concerns the problems of managing work relationships and conditions, with special attention paid to the proces and instrumental aspect of managing absenteeism in a firm; improving the occupational health and safety management system as a result of the development of internal communication in this respect, or the questions of designing and managing the content of websites of local government units, with special regard to their clarity, the network of relationships, human capital, social and environmental responsibility—the issues emphasized in intellectual capital theories and knowledge management theories. In this thematic groups there are papers devoted to teaching professional ethics in schools of higher education in Portugal, which is a response to frequently occurring events arising from improper conduct of various decision-makers. The Reader may also be interested in the findings of the research into financing and organizing a large-scale project of the European Union EU-Great!, concerning socio-economic development and innovations. The articles concerning tourism discuss the principles and methods of strategic and marketing management of the tourism destination of Karlovac municipality (Croatia) and tourism cluster management, illustrated with an example of the Bieszczady Cross-Border Tourism Cluster. This view of the strategic aspects of cluster and tourism destination management shows clearly that we deal with complex organizations the recognition of which requires to consider various points of view. In addition to the diagnosis of the studied organizations, the papers also contain fragments devoted to forecasts for the development of the local labour market and the scenarios of the sustainable development of agricultural farms and rural areas located at the mentioned areas of tourism development.(...)

Problematyka artykułów składających się na niniejszy zeszyt koncentruje się głównie wokół zagadnień dotyczących rozwoju naukowego zarządzania w minionych wiekach, oceny przemian gospodarczych i społecznych w Polsce w ostatnim ćwierćwieczu, kultury bezpieczeństwa pracy i efektywności szkoleń pracowników z zakresu ergonomii i bhp, rozwoju nowych rodzajów turystyki w kraju i za granicą, znaczenia organizacji pozarządowych w rozwijaniu działalności turystycznej w jednostkach samorządu terytorialnego. W artykułach zaprezentowano również koncepcję oceny efektywności kontraktów menedżerskich w przedsiębiorstwach komunalnych, opisano technologie informatyczne wspomagające osoby z niepełnosprawnością ruchową w sterowaniu komputerem, w ostatnim artykule dokonano oceny przemian w zakresie warunków pracy i wypadkowości w polskich przedsiębiorstwach w latach 2011–2016, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wypadkowości kobiet.(...)

Zeszyt jest dziełem pracowników naukowo-dydaktycznych naszej Uczelni oraz pracowników z innych szkół wyższych i ośrodków naukowych w kraju, tj. Wyższej Szkoły Logistyki w Poznaniu, Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego w Krakowie, Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie, Szkoły Głównej Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie, Uniwersytetu Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach, Polsko-Japońskiej Akademii Technik Komputerowych oraz Centralnego Instytutu Ochrony Pracy – Państwowego Instytutu Badawczego w Warszawie. Artykuły, będące efektem prac naukowych prowadzonych w ramach badań podstawowych i wdrożeniowych, prezentują wiele interesujących poznawczo oraz aplikacyjnie informacji.
